Sonoma, CA, October 14, 2015, Edmund DuBois, Retired Brigadier General of the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Elite American Military for dedication, achievements and leadership in national defense.
Throughout General DuBois’ three decade long career in the military, he played an impactful role in maintaining the safety of the United States. Stationed in Paris and Germany, he managed commanding duties with joint military organizations while overseeing staff assignments alongside the Pentagon. He demonstrated an expertise in military affairs and received numerous commendations for his professional excellence. In addition to a distinguished service medal, he earned a legion of merit with two oak leaf clusters. Additionally, he was named Professional of the Year in military services by Worldwide Branding.
General DuBois attributes his success to his ability to understand the responsibilities associated with his post, as well as his desire to make sensible professional contributions. In his retirement, he has written four books: “A Lace Cap and Two Boys,” “In the Name of Church,” “A Lesser Tale of the South Pacific – Reminiscences of World War II” and “A Concise Theory of Combat.” As he looks to the future, he plans to continue writing about his experiences in the US Army.
