Gulfport, Mississippi,  October 7, 2015, Senior Master Sergeant Ronald J. Hagen, retired flight superintendent with the United States Air Force, has been recognized by Elite American Military for his dedication, determination and leadership in all aspects of military service.

SMSgt Hagen was the nutritional medicine flight superintendent for the 81st Medical Support Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base. An expert in diet therapy and nutritional medicine, SMSgt Hagen managed nutritional medicine operations. Dedicated to service, he valued his opportunity to work in the medical field and help so many people. Additionally, he valued his teams’ hard work and dedication and appreciated working with such an excellent group. He is extremely passionate about serving his country, and attributes his success to his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and his family who instilled in him profound values and a sound foundation.

SMSgt Hagen is a certified dietary manager and a certified food protection professional. A graduate of the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy, SMSgt Hagen earned an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree. For his dedication and achievements, SMSgt Hagen has earned various honors and awards, including Nutritional Medicine Team of the Year Award from the Air Education and Training Command in 2009 and 2008, Harvey A. Cain Diet Therapy Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Award from the Air Education and Training Command in 2008, Award from Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and three-time recipient of the Meritorious Award. He retains affiliations with the National Eagle Scout Association and the Dietary Managers Association, as well as volunteers with Heart Walks for the American Heart Association, and Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

SMSgt Hagen was deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm and Chile earthquake relief, and participated in a national-level exercise. For anyone looking to succeed in SMSgt Hagen’s profession, he advises to work hard, be patient and always be persistent to achieve your goals.

Senior Master Sergeant Ronald J. Hagen was originally selected for inclusion in EliteAMERICAN Military in November 2010. We are proud to be featuring SMSgt Hagen again in EliteAMERICAN Military for 2015.
