Thomas V. Charron is a Retired Electronic Integrated System Mechanic with the Michigan Air National Guard. With a refined background in electronic system maintenance, Mr. Charron spent more than 30 years maintaining electronic attack pods, and training traditional guardsmen to be fully qualified electronic technicians. He was inspired to pursue a career with the Michigan Air National Guard by a long-standing desire to serve his country. Mr. Charron received the American Airman Legacy of Valor from the National Guard Bureau for his service overseas after the September 11 attack. He was also deployed to Kuwait and Iraq. He feels that he was able to successfully and diligently answer his call due to sheer hard work and diligence, and his detail-oriented nature and faith in Jesus Christ. Mr. Charron remains current on developments in military relations as a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association. He is also an active member of his local church and a participant in community events.
