EAST STROUDSBURG, PA, June 12, 2012, Steven W. Pratt has been recognized by Elite American Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in project management.
Mr. Pratt served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force prior to his retirement and left the Air Force as a major. He had been deployed to Germany for nine months and to South Korea for one year. He has extensive experience in defense, logistics, engineering, training, and acquisition management. He specializes in business and logistics management, and in engineering, and he currently manages projects and supply chain initiatives.
Attributing his success to years of hard work, Mr. Pratt has amassed a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise over the course of an illustrious career. He has earned multiple United States Air Force Achievement Medals, as well as several USAF Meritorious Service Medals and Commendation Medals throughout the years he spent as a military serviceman. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1982, was commissioned in 1984, and served in the USAF from 1982 to 2006. After retiring as a major, Mr. Pratt worked in project management, logistics management, engineering management and training management, serving such organizations as Picatinny Arsenal NJ, Scientific Applications International Corp. (SAIC), and the Wilkes-Barre Data Operations Center. In the face of many professional peaks, Mr. Pratt pinpoints the highlight of his career as his managing and directing more than 300 people at different locations during his tenure with the United States Air Force.
