Palm Springs, CA | October 27, 2010 | Robert Frazier, Command Master Chief (Retired), United States Navy, has been recognized by Elite American Military for his accomplishments, achievements, and leadership in in all aspects of his military career. Master Chief Frazier started his career in the United States Navy as a sailor and attended boot training in San Diego, CA. He went to school in Lakehurst, New Jersey as an aerographers mate. He served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1968 and also flew on 98 reconnaissance missions. He worked as an executive assistant for a commanding officer in the enlisted affairs department. He also worked on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as a command master chief. He was on two ice breaking ships: one in Antarctica where he built a weather station, and the other in the Arctic where he pulled scientists off of an ice island that had been floating in the Arctic Circle. Master Chief Frazier’s military career spanned four decades. Each step he took brought new adventures, greater responsibilities, and rewarding challenges. It is evident through his accomplishments that he had the ability to excel. Master Chief Frazier is a Certified Master Training Specialist, United States Navy; Certified Naval Weather Instructor; Certified Naval Utility Aircrewman; and Certified Command Master Chief. He has received numerous awards and commendations including Four-Time Recipient, Air Medal; Four-Time Recipient, Navy Commendation Medal; Air Force Commendation Medal; Navy Achievement Medal; Two-Time Recipient, Navy Unit Commendation; Air Force Outstanding Unit Award; Meritorious Unit Commendation; and Three-Time Recipient, Navy “E” Ribbon.
