Driven by a lifelong desire to serve her country and help others, Ms. Cox has sustained a highly decorated career in the U.S. Army for nearly two decades. Having attained the rank of sergeant first class, she reports directly to the commander on personnel strength, documents procedures, and utilizes her own experience to train and mentor other staff members. Her previous support roles in the military include battalion s-1 noncommissioned officer in charge and supply sergeant noncommissioned officer in charge. She also served as a platoon sergeant, squad leader, and the 49th Armored Division’s junior logistician. In recognition of her valor and commitment to preserving freedom and liberty, Ms. Cox has received numerous commendations, including a meritorious service medal with two oak leaf clusters, a national defense service ribbon with a bronze star and a NATO ribbon.
Looking to the future, Ms. Cox hopes to further her education with a Ph.D. in health psychology and assist combat soldiers returning from deployment.
