Ellenwood, Georgia, December 16, 2010, Lanita Thomas, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge for the United States Army, has been recognized by Elite American Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical logistics management.
For more than three decades, Ms. Thomas has been serving in the Armed Forces, with the bravest soldiers in the world, to demonstrate her love and dedication to her country. As a non-commissioned officer in charge, she is responsible for managing the operations of the medical stocks command, ensuring health services and material support for battalions and rendering bio-maintenance support. Attributing her success to her hard work ethic, Ms. Thomas draws on inspiration from her brothers, who are also in the military, to further catapult her career and remain duly motivated.
Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in acquisitions and contract management, from Strayer University. An award-winning soldier, she has been adorned with a Good Conduct Medal, a Meritorious Service Award and a Army Commendation Medal from the United States Army for her commitment and contributions to the Armed Services.
When she is away from her professional duties, Ms. Thomas enjoys listening to jazz music, making arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. She is looking forward to participating in her next assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah.
