Mr. Ruth has devoted the last 14 years to the National Guard. Best noted for his leadership skills, he is responsible for allocating budgets for military training, training soldiers on equipment and serving as commander for an aviation unit. Mr. Ruth plans to pursue a law degree and aspires to become a battalion commander within the next 10 years.
