Cyrus R. McAllister III is a Retired First Sergeant with the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement 18 years ago, Mr. McAllister utilized his personnel management expertise in an arena that would enable him to support the mission of the government organization dedicated to the protection of the United States. Mr. McAllister worked in the nuclear weapons field with the U.S. Army for 21 years. He was promoted to first sergeant, where he was responsible for the functionality of the unit. He had previously worked as a customs inspector in Korea; he worked in course development at Redstone Arsenal, and helped rewrite the 35F course and develop the 55 Gulf 20 NCO course. Mr. McAllister’s other titles have included squad leader and platoon sergeant, and he has driven 750,000 miles without any accidents. Mr. McAllister has received many certificates, commendation medals and seven good conduct recognitions from the United States Army. He is associated with the Association of United States Army, Non-Commissioned Officers Association, a civilian member of the Indiana State Troopers Association and a civilian member of the Indiana Sheriffs Association. In his spare time, he consults on computing systems, builds computers for his family and friends and enjoys sports and digital photography. He used to enjoy working on cars when he had a 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible, a type of which only 10,251 were made and only 511 were the high performance version. He donates to the Sheriffs Association to fund their summer camp for underprivileged kids and their scholarships for high school seniors.
