Clayton M. Graham is the president of Opcon, Inc., a construction contracting company specializing in building and construction services, as well as in federal contracts and in working with such federal agencies as the Federal Aviation Administration, General Services Administration, Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. With a refined background in civil work, interior renovations, and green and smart buildings, Mr. Graham currently oversees operations and business development, works on numerous federal contracts, forms business relationships, supervises company personnel, and finances and handles new contracts. Mr. Graham has garnered a reputation of prominence as an industry leader, earning such commendable awards and accolades as the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, on two occasions. He also earned a Navy Presidential Unit Citation and Navy “Efficiency Ribbon,” on six occasions, the Perry Award, three times, the Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, four times, the National Defense Service Medal, twice, a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, an Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and a Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. In addition, Mr. Graham has received the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with Hour Glass and Mobalized, the Expert Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon, the Expert Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon, and a Letter of Commendation on three occasions. In utilizing the knowledge and experience he has gained over the course of an illustrious military career, Mr. Graham ensures that his company is always running smoothly. Mr. Graham was in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has served in the Navy for more than 18 years. Previously, he worked as a professional engineer for Abbott Labs and senior project manager for FH Paschen. He was injured in 2003 in Iraq. In 2009, he decided to open the general contracting company, which is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that primarily works on federal projects.
