HORSHAM, PA, August 24, 2012, Anita Yvette Williams, Senior Food Technician for the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Elite American Military for dedication, achievements, and leadership in food preparation.
With more than 22 years of professional experience under her belt, Ms. Williams champions the goals of the military organization by demonstrating her proficiencies in project management and organization and efficiently and effectively managing food operations as a senior food technician. She is also in charge of performing safety and quality inspections, and for training, mentoring and advising other military cooks at her current post.
Ms. Williams was inspired by her grandfather to pursue her current career path, and after following her dreams of becoming a culinary professional, she has built on a skill set that has enabled her to tastefully and artfully nourish the palettes of those protecting and serving the country they love. She holds accreditation as a Master Chef Specialist, and she is currently pursuing coursework at Le Cordon Bleu.
Ever passionate about food, Ms. Williams remains abreast of trends and developments in the culinary arts as a member of the International Food Educators Association. She also supports such worthy causes as the Fisher House and local BMX track.
